Using Zapier to send Facebook Lead Forms to Lead Prosper
This tutorial will go over how to connect Facebook lead forms to lead prosper using Zapier. It is important to note that to use this feature, you must have a premium Zapier account. To watch a video tutorial on this, click here
Starting from the Zaps tab, select “Create Zap”
This will bring you to Zapier’s Zap workspace. From here click on your trigger, then select “Facebook Lead Ads”
After this, you will see a dashboard on the right of the screen. Under “App & event” select “New Lead” then select “continue”. From here, you will need to connect your facebook lead ads account. If your Facebook account is not already connected, you will be prompted with a pop up screen that will walk you through how to connect your Facebook account
Once you have an account added, click continue. Now you are going to need to select a trigger, to do this, you will need to select a page. Once you have selected the page you want to use, select “Defalt (Any Form)” under the Form section. Click refresh fields, then continue. This will then bring you to the option to test your trigger, so select “test trigger”
This is going to test a trigger and will include all of the information that is sent over. Next, scroll down and select “continue with selected record”. This will bring up the “Change action” option, we are going to send this to Lead Prosper, so search for and select Lead Prosper
Next, under event, select “Send Lead to Your Direct Post Campaign” and hit continue. From here you will need to choose your Lead Prosper account. Once your account is chosen, click continue
If you don't have an account you can go in and connect using your API. You will also do this if you want to change or select a new account. To do this click the “Change” button. This will bring up a window where you’ll enter your developer API key
To retrieve your developer API key, go to your Lead Prosper account. Under the Lead Prosper dropdown in the top right corner select “Developer”. Copy this key, paste it into Zapier and click continue
Now, add the campaign you will want to use. For now, leave the mode in test mode. Next, you will need to enter the lp_campaign_id, lp_supplier_id, and lp_key from your Lead Prosper API specs
Now we are going to map the data from the test lead to the appropriate fields in the lead prosper campaign. Once some of the fields are filled out, scroll down and select continue. From here you will be prompted with the option to test the step, so select “test step”
If no issues were found in your test, you will see that the lead was “accepted” on Zapier. If this is the case, select “publish.” This is how you can connect your facebook leads ads account to Lead Prosper using Zapier
To see your lead accepted on Lead Prosper’s side, you should be able to find it under leads and see it was accepted with all of the correct fields
Once you are confident with this process and you are ready to start publishing your leads onto facebook, you will need to go back into Zapier and switch from test mode to PRODUCTION mode and repeat the process
