Change Logs
The Changelog feature provides a detailed log of all interactions and modifications made within Lead Prosper. Every action a user or a Team Member takes — from creating campaigns to updating account settings — is tracked and recorded in real time. This log serves as a comprehensive audit trail that can be used to ensure accountability and transparency across the platform.
Users can easily access the Changelog from two places: by clicking their account name and selecting Changelog from the menu, or directly from the edit pages for campaigns, buyers, or suppliers, where the "Last Updated By" information is displayed.
Once on the Changelog page, all logs are displayed in chronological order with newest changes at the top, making it simple to review past actions and updates.
To make it easier to find specific changes, the Changelog includes a powerful and granular filtering system that allows users to filter logs based on criteria such as date, user, action type, operation, IP, more granular campaign options and so much more. This searchability makes the Changelog an essential tool for debugging, especially when it comes to troubleshooting campaign performance or identifying the source of a system change.
When a single action contains significant amounts of information related to the change - for example if a user made edits to a Buyer payload - a "View Details" button will appear. Clicking this will show a comparison of the before and after states of the change, highlighting differences in red and green, similar to a diff view. This makes it easy to track exactly what was modified in any given action.
By keeping a detailed record of every interaction, the Changelog also helps teams work more cohesively. When multiple team members are involved in managing a campaign, the changelog makes it clear who made what changes and when, fostering a sense of accountability and collaboration.
