First 30 Days – Onboarding Checklist

Our onboarding program is designed to get you live as quickly as possible—typically in under 48 hours. Whether you’re generating leads from your own landing pages or buying leads from third parties, our team provides a hands-on, white-glove experience. From reviewing your setup to training your team, we’ll guide you every step of the way.

Step 1: Review & Understand Your Campaigns

After signing up, the first step is to schedule a call with our onboarding team. On this call, we’ll:

  • Learn about your operation and workflow.
  • Strategize the best way to structure your campaigns.
  • Review your buyers.
  • Show you how to optimize with Lead Prosper’s features and technology.

This discovery session ensures your campaigns are set up with your business goals in mind.

Step 2: Build Campaign Fields

Next, we’ll set up your campaign fields based on how your data is being collected:

  • If you have a landing page (O&O): We’ll ask you to send a test lead so we can see the exact field names, formats, and values your form is capturing. We’ll build your campaign fields to match—reducing the need for changes on your landing page.
  • If you’re buying leads from a third party: You decide which data points you want to collect. We can build fields from your supplier’s API specs or from custom field requirements you provide.

Either way, the goal is to align campaign fields with the way you want to collect and use data.

Step 3: Supplier Tests

When a new supplier is added, it’s automatically placed into Test Mode. During this stage:

  • Your suppliers send test leads into the campaign.
  • We confirm the data is flowing correctly before moving forward.

It is important to ensure that the leads are sent as tests - this ensures that your account is not charged (we do not charge for test leads) and test leads are never distributed to your buyers.

Once we can confirm that the Suppliers are sending the correct data into the Campaigns we will disable Test Mode and they’ll be considered a Live Supplier.

Step 4: Buyer Setups

Once suppliers are tested, we move on to building your buyers:

  • Simply fill out our Buyer Setup Form with all the details—API specs, API keys or tokens, filters, caps, etc.
  • The more complete the information, the faster we can get your buyers built.

Our team handles the technical setup for you.

To make the buyer setup process as smooth as possible, it’s important to stay organized. Some buyer setups are straightforward, while others can be more complex and require back-and-forth communication with the buyer. The best way to keep everything clear and efficient is to keep a separate ticket for each buyer setup, which is done by submitting each buyer as a separate Buyer Setup Form submission. This way, both of our teams can communicate in an organized thread, ensuring that every setup is completed quickly and without confusion.

Step 5: Confirm Buyer Tests

As each buyer is built, we’ll send a test file to confirm the setup. Here’s what happens:

  • We will add the buyer test file to the buyer set up ticket for each buyer.
  • You will send that test file to your buyer for them to confirm that the lead was accepted and looks good on their end.
  • Once confirmed, we remove test parameters, update URLs to production endpoints, and switch the buyer live.

This ensures your buyers are ready to start receiving real leads before they are set to live.

Step 6: Go Live & Active Monitoring

Once you’re live, our account management team closely monitors your campaigns to make sure everything runs smoothly. We watch for:

  • Incorrect lead data
  • Incorrect data formats
  • Buyer misconfigurations
  • Poor data quality
  • Any other issues that could affect delivery or acceptance

If a problem arises, our team will quickly step in to fix it or loop in support/onboarding as needed.

Step 7: Training & Ongoing Support

Throughout the process, we encourage you to ask questions and lean on our team. You’ll also have access to:

  • Our knowledge base of helpful articles.
  • Training videos on YouTube.
  • Support tickets for personalized help.

Once you’re live, that level of support doesn’t stop. You’ll continue to have full access to our support ticketing system, where every request is handled quickly and thoroughly by our team. If an issue ever comes up, all you need to do is open a ticket—we’ll take it from there.
