Campaign Triggers

WHAT ARE CAMPAIGN TRIGGERS?

In a Lead Prosper Campaign you have your Suppliers and your Buyers - a lead comes in through the Supplier and is sold to your Buyer(s). But there are times when your lead routing logic might be more complicated. For example you might have a second batch of buyers who will buy failed or duplicate leads that your priority buyers might need. Or you may need to have a trigger that sends a POSTBACK only after a lead has sold, such as an affiliate tracking platform like Everflow. This advanced logic happens secondary to your primary Buyer set ups. This is where Campaign Triggers come into play. Campaign Triggers allow you to set up any number of rules to run after your leads have gone through the standard buyer protocol. These rules and actions are set up as IF this - THEN that triggers and can run based on any number of combinations.

SET UP

First lets break down the different components of a Campaign Trigger:

1) TITLE - the name for your Campaign Trigger

2) IF Rules - here you can add any number of rules in order to make your campaign trigger as specific as possible. You can add unlimited rules, however they can only be AND statements, meaning that all rules must be true in order for the campaign trigger action to run.

Rules can be set to using the following:

  • FIELD - allows you to select any campaign field in your campaign, and then enter a value to run against any of the following conditions - Is Blank, Is Not Blank, Equal, Not Equal, Greater Than, Greater Than Or Equal To, Less Than, Less Than Or Equal To, Between, Any One Of, Contains, Starts With, and Ends With.
  • DAY TIME - add a list of days and times that the rule can run, and the timezone in which they should be applied.
  • SUPPLIER - run the rule if the Supplier of the lead is either Equal To (exactly that supplier), Any One Of (runs if the the supplier is in the list of multiple suppliers) or Except (the supplier is NOT in the list of multiple suppliers).
  • SELL PRICE - run the action based on the Sell Price of the lead and any of the following conditions - Greater Than, Greater Than Or Equal To, Less Than, Less Than Or Equal To.
  • LEAD STATUS - run the action if the lead status of said lead is Equal / Any One Of / Except the following values - Accepted, Error, Duplicated.
  • BUYER - run the rule if the Buyer of the lead is either Equal To (exactly that buyer), Any One Of (runs if the the buyer is in the list of multiple buyers) or Except (the buyer is NOT in the list of multiple buyers).

3) THEN Rules - here you can add any number of actions to run when your rule(s) are true. You have the ability to send a direct HTTP Post using the payload builder, just like you would with a standard buyer set up. You have access to the lead's campaign field values, as well as system field values and payload transformers. Set up is just like a direct post buyer set up, where you have your Post URL, Request Method (GET, POST, or PUT), Payload Type (FORM, XML, JSON), Payload Body, and Custom Headers. You also have the ability to send a plain body Email instead of an HTTP post, with full payload builder capabilities and the ability to send to up to 5 email addresses.

Just like IF rules you can add unlimited actions under this area, each treated as a separate action to occur when all the IF rules are met.

CAMPAIGN TRIGGER USE CASES & EXAMPLES

Now that we have an understanding, lets go over some examples of Campaign Triggers that you might have in your campaign.

Everflow Affiliate Tracking Postback

One of the top affiliate tracking and RevShare tracking platforms in the game today is Everflow. With Everflow you are able to track your affiliates transaction_id and post back conversion event information, lead sell amount, and much more to their system after a lead has sold in order to automate affiliate tracking within your campaigns. In order to do so, you would set up a Campaign Trigger that would send back to Everflow important affiliate lead information, such as successful conversions and lead sell prices, so that you can keep your revenue records up to date.

CRM Integration

You may have buyers who not only have their own lead bidding systems, they may also have secondary CRMs that they would like all lead information delivered to. A Campaign Trigger could be set up to post all Accepted leads from that buyer to a secondary CRM, such as GoHighLevel.

Warm-Transfer Leads To A Call Center

While Lead Prosper does not yet have a feature to allow for live transfers to call centers, you are able to do a warm-transfers to a call center or dialer with all pertinent lead information.

Sending Failed or Duplicated Leads To Different Campaigns

A very common practice in lead monetization is having primary buyers with strict requirements, and having secondary buyers with less stringent requirements that might be willing to accept any leads that failed to sell to your primary group. Another situation could be that you have leads in Home Improvement services that might be cross-sellable across different subverticals. Using Campaign Triggers you can have all of your failed or duplicated leads posted to a different campaign within Lead Prosper in order to optimize your lead monetization. This is a very common practice with media buying, lead brokering, and other scenarios where you have several lead suppliers ingesting into one campaign with the potential to sell to buyers in other verticals.

Send Email or SMS Lead Notifications To Buyers

Campaign Triggers can be used to send notifications to your buyers of new leads using either Email or SMS messaging through services like Twilio. If you have a slew of different agents that are buying leads you can send individual SMS texts or emails to them in real time to let them know that a new lead has been sent to them.
