Posting Sensitive Data To Your Buyers With Sensitive Fields
Lead Prosper now offers the ability to post highly private data points, such as Social Security numbers, Bank Account information, Medicare numbers, and other highly sensitive information that your buyers may require. This is done using a new Campaign Field option called Sensitive Fields. When a Campaign Field is marked as Sensitive, the data value will be passed from the Supplier to the Buyer in real-time, and then from there the value is dropped and replaced with three-astericks *** in any type of logging, analytics, campaign triggers, etc. The sensitive data is sent once to the buyer and never stored.
You have two options to enable a Sensitive Field with your Campaign Fields.
- Creating A New Sensitive Campaign Field
When creating a new campaign field the user will know have the ability to mark a campaign field as sensitive:
- Update An Existing Campaign Field To A Sensitive Field
Go to your Campaign, and visit the Campaign Fields section. Browse to your campaign field(s) that need to be converted to sensitive, and simply flip the new Sensitive toggle switch. This will convert the campaign field to a sensitive field and all data sent through that field afterward will be treated as such.
That's it - simple as that. Once you update the campaign field to Sensitive there is nothing else needed to be done. All data that passes through that field from there-on-out will be treated as a sensitive field, sent one to the buyer in real-time, and then shown as *** in the system from there.
